The game pad is just a controller for the unit. The games are largely still played on a television screen. The question I keep getting from all my friends is about the game pad. I think they'd be more fun to play with a partner than they are on single player mode. It has several arcade-s tyle games arranged in a theme park setting. The other game in the bundle, NintendoLand, is just okay. For this bundle in particular, I think Super Mario 3D World is lots of fun! I think it's a good way to ease into 3D style games if you grew up playing everything in two dimensions. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see Nintendo has a whole catalog of non-sports games suitable for kids or adults who like a game that isn't all shooting, blowing up, and massacring your way through an alien landscape. I had gotten the impression that Wii was all about the sports games (because they seem to be all anyone ever talks about). This is really my first console in years. I grew up playing their games, and I I find their new titles fun as an adult. Nintendo is always going to hold a special place in my heart. Additional Green Stars can be earned in Captain Toad, Mystery House, and Challenge levels.Great value, especially for those of us who grew up with Nintendo and love it Ghosts can be raced against, and may hold gift prizes such as coins or extra lives. Players can also view messages left by other players, both on the world map and after clearing a level, and can download ‘Mii Ghosts’, which are live records of other players completing levels. Each level contains three collectable Green Stars which are required to access certain levels, and each main level contains a hidden Stamp which was used in handwritten posts to the now defunct Miiverse online community. Levels are accessed through a world map, in which players can find hidden areas to earn more items or coins.
Super Mario 3D World More Maps and Levels Players are also able to pick up, carry, and throw each other. The player can select any of the five characters to use before beginning a level, and up to four players may explore the same level simultaneously, sharing from a pool of lives.
